Cuckoos

Cuckoos are amongst my favourite species of bird. They are just wonderfully naughty as they hijack the nests of poor unsuspecting birds. I have watched a huge Pallid Cuckoo chick being fed by exhausted honeyeaters that were a third of its size. I always picture the real parents kicking back with a martini and laughing! 

I have grouped the cuckoos according to size. Stick around to the end as the biggest is a monster!
