I guess you could call me a professional photographer. I spend everyday looking for wildlife to shoot and I publish my photos and make a little money from them. But that is really a sidenote to my life. Being out in the country and having the privilege of seeing some incredible creatures is what it is all about. I have travelled to come exotic places around the world to see wildlife and for the last 3 years, I have been living in a campervan and exploring Australia. I have just about finished my second lap and am not sure where to head off to next.
I am primarily a birder but the amazing wildlife in Australia has worked its magic on me and I am now discovering the wonders of marsupials, reptiles and marine life. If you read enough of my posts, you can probably spot how that has developed.
I am proud of this blog. It records all the interesting places I have been and what I have seen there. I do not profess to be an expert, either in photography or the natural world so please don't take my observations and recommendations as gospel - they should be treated as a starting point. We all know how wildlife can vary dramatically depending on the time of day, season and weather. The information given here is merely a record of a moment in time.
Please click on the locations listed below, explore the map for more links or look at the state header pages for my top tips. I am updating the site all the time so some links will not be live yet.
