Visited: late dry season
Recommendation: If you are in the Broome area, this attractive beach is definitely worth visiting. Shorebirds, raptors and terns can all be seen easily here.
Gantheaume Point is in the south west corner of the Broome peninsula, and only a short distance away from the city centre. Just before you reach the point there is the turf club and the beach. It is a lovely stretch of sand with some interesting rocky formations at the southern end. The views are scenic and it is obviously a popular place with a jetty and 4 wheel drive access.
I wandered along the beach towards the rocky area and it was pleasant in the sunshine with the sea breeze. There isn't much more to tell than that, so I will let the photos speak for themselves!
